Europe is our market place
For a number of years, Ørskov Frugt has bought raw materials from Poland to ensure the delivery of frozen berry products to our industrial customers. Poland produces the largest amount of berries in all of Europe.

Refrigerated store houses in Poland
Today Ørskov Frugt owns two refrigerated store houses in Poland. Both store houses are located in areas with rich agricultural traditions in the south-western and north-western part of Poland respectively.

With Danish/Polish management, our subsidiary company Agrofreeze S.A. produces 15.000 tons of strawberries and other berries every year as well as frozen vegetables e.g. sliced or diced onions.

Modern technology
Technologically the Polish company fully lives up to Western European standards. Agrofreeze has a modern flow-freezer with a freezing capacity of four tons of strawberries per hour at its disposal. Furthermore, the company has storage capacity for 6000 tons of frozen goods.
